Elly Rebeka is a professional dancer, singer, actor, and magician's assistant based in Chicago, Illinois.
Currently, Elly is in her second year at the Mountain of Entertainment Theater in Pigeon Forge, TN as the Dance Captain at Array Variety Show as well as the Lead Magic Assistant in Illustionation The Magic of Jason Hudy. Elly performs 6 days a week in both shows and is having so much fun! When she's not performing in Pigeon Forge, Elly tours the country with Jason Hudy in Mesmerizing Magic.
Elly is a graduate of Ball State University where she received a BFA in Dance, a BA in French, and a minor in Theatrical Studies. Since graduating college, Elly has performed as a dancer/singer/swing with RWS Entertainment Group on four separate contracts, as the Dance Captain/Ensemble in White Christmas at Circa'21 Dinner Theater, at Six Flags America during their Fright Fest and Holiday in the Park seasons, as a Magic Assistant with the LOL Comedy Magic Show at Holiday World and Splashin' Safari and at WonderWorks in Pigeon Forge, and worked with local theater companies as an assistant choreographer, dance captain, and performer. When not on the road, she is in her hometown of Chicago where she attends aerial classes, auditions, dance classes, and workshops.
Elly has a diverse background in dance and theater that began at a young age. She has worked as a dancer, singer, actor, swing, stunt performer, choreographer, dance captain, costumer, scenic painter, lighting designer, house manager, and usher. Throughout her career, Elly has always believed in being a well-rounded, experienced, and grounded performer. For that reason, Elly dove head first into learning as many styles of dance and elements of theater as possible which allow her to connect and communicate with many artists and jump into any situation that may present itself. Elly prides herself on being an adaptable and diverse performer that can mold to each project.
In high school, Elly was an honors thespian through the International Thespian Society and also actively participated in performances and costumes. At Ball State, she performed in classical repertoire such as Cinderella: the Ballet and Steps in the Street by Martha Graham. She also performed in modern concerts choreographed by Audra Sokol and Rebecca Pappas, and even performed original choreography, entitled Fade, as part of the Junior Choreography Projects. During her time at Ball State, Elly fostered her love of all things dance and theatre and gained experience with many different genres.
Additionally, Elly had the chance to work with Buffalo Grove Park District as an assistant dance teacher and a summer camp counselor teaching dance classes, managing a large group of students and teaching games and various crafts to elementary and middle school students. Elly gained leadership and confidence in teaching which she now applies to being a dance captain and choreographer on various projects.
Outside of performing, Elly also enjoys painting, traveling, baking, and sitting on the couch with her cats.
